The Jennie Colabatistto Quintet Returns to Jazz at the Lodge!
Jennie Colabatistto is thrilled to be back at John Codman's series Jazz at the Lodge for the third time! Jennie is a Westchester based jazz and soul vocalist who has been singing with her jazz band since 2018. She will be joined by local Westchester and Hudson Valley based musicians Eric Puente (drums), Rich Williams (Alto sax), Sarah Cion (keys), and Bob Gingery (bass). In addition to her interpretations of classic standards, Jennie is known for pushing the boundaries of typical jazz vocal styles by incorporating elements of Soul jazz, Hard Bop, blues, and soul into her performances. With tunes like Filthy McNasty (Horace Silver) and Mercy Mercy Mercy (Cannonball Adderley), songs originally written with no lyrics, Jennie keeps her audiences surprised and entertained.
